Northwood is the Maine home in the woods that you dream about. Located on beautiful Long Pond, endless fishing, swimming and kayaking awaits you just steps from the front door. After an active day you will want to relax and enjoy cocktails and sunsets from the huge wrap around porch. The house has four bedrooms, two baths and sleeps 8-10. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, one main with a queen bed and a sliding door that opens onto the wrap around porch. The other first floor bedroom is smaller and has a queen bed with views out toward the woods. Each bedroom has an open stairway leading to the bedrooms above. This is a quirky design of our house which does not provide a lot of privacy; guests staying in the upper bedrooms will walk through the downstairs bedrooms to get to their rooms and use the bathrooms. The two upstairs bedrooms each have two twin beds. Both rooms have windows that look out over the lake as well as windows that look toward the woods. The upstairs bedrooms connect to each other with a door. Again, these bedrooms have open staircases that lead to the bedrooms below. The loft has a pullout couch that sleeps two and has views of the lake. There are two full bathrooms, one with a shower tub and the other with a shower stall. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, toaster, blender, drip coffee maker, mixer and all the usual kitchen utensils. The stove top is an electric four burner Jenair. The refrigerator is a side by side with an icemaker and water in the door. There is a screened-in porch that opens off the kitchen. 3 Kayaks are available for you to enjoy (life jackets provided as well). Kayaks can be launched right off of the dock. Beech Mountain is just up the road offering a quick hike with beautiful views of Long Pond, and the south end of Mt. Desert Island. Northwood is located closest to Southwest Harbor where you can find groceries, restaurants and shopping. Neighboring Beech Hill Farm, an organic vegetable farm, is the place to stock up on organic meats and veggies. Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park are about a 20 minute drive from Northwood. Briar Rose by the Sea and adjacent guest house, Ariel's Grotto, is for LARGE GROUPS overlooking ACADIA NATIONAL PARK It includes Belle's Bunk House (2 futon bunk beds that sleep 6) for those more adventurous, AND The Pirate rooms have dormitory sleeping (futon bunk beds GALORE) and TV's! Sleeper sofas, and futons are in living rooms! We have sleeping arrangements to fit your large group! ALL on the Sea's edge and adjacent to each other. What a wonderful beach for your family! It is minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Huge yard for your family activities and the water facing deck can hold and seat everyone in your party. If you have a large group vacation planned, this is the place. The beach area is clear of large rocks and is a beautiful pebble/sand beach-- a hard find on the rocky coast of Maine! Couple this with the mountain views and the Atlantic ocean and you will want to return here every year. . This is the ONLY property you will find to accommodate large groups with 2 separate residences and a bunk house!!! All on one large property with over 300 FT of BEACH FRONTAGE and a HUGE lawn for family activities AND a HUGE Cedar Works Pirate themed playground!!! I Must Go Back to the Sea Again...: You will want to return year after year to this very special spot. There are a lot of rentals to choose from, but none like this. Accommodating large groups with beautiful grounds and beach so close to Acadia and overlooking the mountains of Acadia combined with the deep water frontage make this a one of a kind vacation spot and THE PLACE for Family reunions and large groups! Make Sure you have Deep Water frontage--Not Tidal!: This is deep water frontage. Don't be fooled by houses 'located on the ocean' that have tidal frontage. Tidal frontage means you have nothing but mud (and a foul smell!) when the tide goes out and the water disappears. True deep water frontage means you will still have deep water even when the tide is out. Many properties listed in Trenton Maine have tidal frontage--don't be fooled by a good price! Several Golf Courses are nearby: Bar Harbor Golf course is just minutes away and down the road to Bar Harbor you will find the famed 'Kebo Valley' golf course. There's a Summer Place...: This is truly an exceptional property with a breathtaking view of the ocean with the backdrop of the mountains of Acadia National Park. A deep water mooring is provided should you wish to sail or boat during your stay here. Spend your days combing the beach for starfish, sand dollars and pretty colored shells and sea glass. The beach is cleared of large rocks (something no one is allowed to do anymore) which is a hard find on the rocky coast of Maine. Couple this with the smell of the sea and a warm summer breeze and you will want to return year after year to rest your soul. This spot is great for ocean swimming or wading as well as for snorkeling or scuba diving. But be prepared to just sit back in your beach chair with your toes dug into the warm sand while the warm summer breeze caresses your cares away. Don't be surprised if you catch yourself smiling all the time...we'll know why... Briar Rose main house - 3 BR - 1 king and 2 queen. Main living room has 3 pullout sofas. Sitting area off kitchen has 2 pullout sofas. Bunk house off the deck of this house has 2 futon bunk beds. The garage with this house has 3 futon bunk beds if you wish to use them. We don't call this area living space - it's up to you if you wish to use it. It still has garage doors but it is decorated in a pirate theme. Ariel's Grotto has 2 BR. 1 is a queen and the other has 2 twin beds. There are 3 futons in the living room. The basement is a garage. It has 2 futon bunk beds and several sofas. It is not described as living space. You can use it but that is up to you. Remember, this is set up for our family and we just leave it the way we have it. We don't call the garage areas bedrooms or even sleeping rooms. See photos.

The living room is the perfect place to sit and relax after a day of adventure in Acadia or kayaking right on the pond, while you watch your favorite program on a 55" 4K flat screen with Sling TV. Listening to the loon calls from the dock or from the porch is a treat any time of day; especially while watching the sun set over the pond. For chilly evenings, a furnace will warm the entire home right up. Rest comfortably on a king sized bed in the lake view loft master bedroom. There are double/twin bunk beds in the other two bedrooms. Each floor has a full bathroom. Water comes from a drilled well with an additional filter system for fresh tasting drinking water, so reliance on lake water is unnecessary. Guests for our two cottages have shared private access to the dock as well as to designated kayaks. Because of the cold season here in Maine, the dock goes in the lake the 2nd week of May and is removed the 1st week of November. While Rocky Haven is a home away from home, Cozy Haven is just a bit smaller but is also a year round cottage from which you can discover the wonders of coastal Maine. You can find it on VRBO too. No pets are allowed on our properties due to family members with severe asthma issues. No exceptions.

Ledgewood Cottage is nestled on three private acres on the quiet side of Mt. Desert Island. Situated on an island at the northern end of Long Pond, the largest lake on Mt. Desert Island, the home is secluded but within easy reach of all the area has to offer. The beach at Long Pond, with its dock and canoe and kayak rental, is just up the road, and the towns of Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Northeast Harbor are all an easy drive away. The nearby mountains are interlaced with National Park hiking trails. After a day of exploring the carriage roads and trails, lakes and villages of Mt. Desert Island, come back along the winding woodland road to the peace and comfort of Ledgewood Cottage. The house is a four bedroom year-round vacation home, and features spacious living rooms on two floors, as well as two distinct master bedrooms. The two upper levels are air conditioned, and the partially below grade lower level remains comfortable year-round. Entering from the comfortably furnished deck, you will enter a cathedral ceilinged great room. At the near end are a dining area and well equipped skylit chef's kitchen with two-oven Jenn Air range. Complimentary spices and condiments are provided. Beyond the kitchen, the larger section of the great room holds a living room, with two long couches, extra chairs, large flat screen TV and speakers. Area maps and guidebooks are provided here to help guests plan each day's adventures. Next to the great room is the large dining porch with seating for eight, the perfect gathering spot at the start and end of the day. Three walls of windows fill the room with sunlight, and a bar holds glasses and barware, as well as puzzles and board games. On the other side of the great room, a hallway leads to two pine paneled bedrooms. The main floor master bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom with both a walk-in shower and deep jetted soaking tub. Across the hall, a second bedroom holds two twin beds. A laundry and another full bathroom with large walk-in shower complete the main floor. Ledgewood Cottage's upper level holds the second master bedroom, a spacious relaxing sleep loft with king bed, two skylights, and view across the great room to treetops and sky. The lower level of the house holds the fourth bedroom, with four-poster queen bed and private outside entrance. Newly added this year on our lower level is a large second living room, with couches, tv, and table with board games and jigsaw puzzles. Our four bedrooms are distributed on three levels, providing guests with privacy. Our twin bedroom and pack and play are ideal for two or three younger children, and the other three bedrooms are suitable for adults and older children (the master sleep loft is just for adults). At Ledgewood Cottage, every effort has been made to provide visitors with a rewarding and memorable vacation. Our goal is to ensure that guests have everything they need, and will feel they have truly found a welcoming home away from home. Ledgewood Cottage is a no smoking, no pets vacation home. Due to our family's severe allergies, we cannot allow dogs under any circumstances. We ask that guests not request special permission for their own four-legged family member, regardless of size, breed, or good behavior.

Less than that, ask about reduced cleaning fee Our recent edition to our properties is amazing Sound View, located in Hall Quarry, Mount Desert! Hall Quarry is located about halfway between Somesville and Southwest Harbor on Mount Desert Island. Hall Quarry supported as many as five quarrying operations from 1870 to 1965. It is a peaceful and serene village that sits nestled in the hills on Somes Sound, the only natural fjard on the east coast and a popular sailing and pleasure boating destination, offering protected deep anchorages and spectacular views all year long. Sound View is a very spacious, meticulously decorated and a comfortable home away from home set amidst a huge manicured yard, overlooking the most spectacular and amazing views of Somes Sound, as well as beautiful Sargent, Bald Peak, Parkman and Norumbega Mountains. Relax in the most private setting while you sip your coffee on your very spacious deck and enjoy the ever changing breathtaking views! Watch the deer grazing all around you in the early evenings. Also take in our spectacular Maine Lupine flowering field in full bloom, along your view to the Sound (seasonally). Feel free to cut a few to have them for inside as well. We are just minutes (2 to 3 miles) to some of Acadia National Park's most popular hiking and biking trails, as well as great swimming at Echo Lake Beach. We are within 8 miles of downtown Bar Harbor and minutes to everything that our beautiful Island has to offer, without having to endure the lack of privacy with downtown properties and the huge crowds and noise from the cruise ship traffic while staying in Bar Harbor. Sound View has five lovely bedrooms and three bathrooms. It will comfortably accommodate a total of 12 (8 ADULTS / 4 CHILDREN MAXIMUM)due to bed configurations. It is delicately appointed with brand-new fine furnishings, flooring, upscale bedding and linens, housewares, etc. This amazing property provides you with everything you could possibly need! The beautiful gas fireplace is a perfect setting for cooler evenings. On the entrance level floor, there is a fully stocked kitchen leading to an open concept living room and sun-room dining area, both with large sliding glass doors to the spacious deck and gorgeous view. Lots of windows throughout allows for wonderful natural light. There is a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a smaller en-suite bathroom, as well as a second bedroom with a queen size bed and a larger bathroom for the main floor to utilize. Cottage (2200 sq. ft.) in Surry, ME
0 miles from Blue Hill
A Little Slice of Heaven in Surry, Maine with views of Union River Bay, Cadillac Mountain and Acadia National Park. Bayport Cottage is located on Newbury Neck peninsula with panoramic ocean views all the way to Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain. We're privately located in a quiet setting on protected Union River Bay. Perfect for lazing around right on water's edge. We're off the beaten path but close to everywhere you'll want to visit. Conveniently located near Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Blue Hill and Ellsworth, which translates into sightseeing attractions, outdoor activities, shops, restaurants and much more. Bayport Cottage is furnished in an upscale manner with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, including a king-size master suite on the first floor. Bayport features an open-style living plan with a cathedral ceiling, a beautifully finished lower level, and a large oceanside deck. For a more luxurious experience, we've newly remodeled both bathrooms and the kitchen all featuring granite countertops. We have newly refurnished the main level living and dining rooms. We now have Fiber Optics WiFi—one of the only cottages on Newbury Neck with high-speed internet. We provide all the comforts of home, but with a great view from every room. Come experience it for yourself. Enjoy everything we have to offer. Come enjoy all the sights and sounds of the rocky coast of Maine! We strive to provide you with the perfect vacation experience. The Rock: Everyone who stays at Bayport knows about 'The Rock'. So what's the rock, you ask. It's a huge flat rock that appears at low tide. You'll want to carry out a beach chair so you can sit on what seems to be your own private island and bask in the fresh ocean breezes. It’s really that good. Perry's Lobster Shack: Perry Long's Lobster Shack is right on Newbury Neck where you can eat fresh lobster on Perry's pier out over the ocean. The setting is great and the lobsters are even better. Wait for your lobster to cook with a glass of wine while Perry steams 'em up for you. You can take them home or enjoy them right there. It's the best lobster roll we've found. And, believe me, we've tried a lot of them. Best Public Beach: Ssshh! Don't tell anyone, but one of the best local beaches is right here on Newbury Neck, just up the road from the Cottage--a pebble beach with a grand view of the mountains.

The cottage is on a quiet private spot overlooking Penobscot Bay. Western views of Penobscot Bay for beautiful sunsets over the water. 900 feet of shore frontage, quiet setting with private deck. A lighthouse across the Bay continues to direct some large vessels to Bucksport. In the fog, you may hear the fog horn sound every 7 seconds. The beach is a great spot for walking, collecting beach glass, and driftwood. Our regulars like to build forts on the beach with the many shapes and sizes of driftwood that wash up. There are also a couple of lakes in the area if you would like to visit some fresh water. We are equal distance to Belfast, Bangor and Ellsworth. Short drive to many coastal Maine towns; 12 min to Blue Hill, 7 min to Castine, 45 min to Acadia National Park, and 60 min to Camden/Rockport. I do my major grocery shopping in Bucksport, a comfortable 10 mile country drive. One bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed, One upstairs bedroom has a double bed and the other 2 twins. Maine has a rich literary history - and if you are bringing your kids, grab a copy of some Robert McCloskey favorites; One Morning In Maine, Burt Dow Deep Water Man, Time of Wonder. We can give you directions to Condon's Garage so you can eat ice cream by the harbor and read these iconic books to your kids. Burt Dow's headstone is only a short drive from there, and the locals regularly adorn it with a painted buoy. We like to think Giggling Gull visits from time to time.

Cabin (2000 sq. ft.) in Trenton, ME
0 miles from Blue Hill
Janie's Haven was built with love and care in 2000, with wood floors, granite counters, and an open floor plan with French doors opening onto a large deck overlooking the ocean. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, each with its own full bath. Peace and seclusion are yours at the end of a quiet dead-end road, yet the house lies within easy driving distance from Acadia National Park, picturesque Bar Harbor, and the Quiet Side of the island. Our beautiful log home sits in a meadow on the edge of a cedar forest, with views of Western Bay and a very short walk to a semi-private stairway to the beach. Hike and see the sights in Acadia by day, go out for a gourmet dinner in Bar Harbor, then come home and enjoy ocean breezes on the deck when nights are warm, or relax by the wood stove in cooler weather. The cabin has a rustic feel with all the modern conveniences like hi-speed internet access, a brand new gas grill, and a jacuzzi tub. Check Janie's Haven out on Facebook for more photos. Our home is particularly well-situated for children. The loft has a Waldorf-inspired play area with wooden toys, puzzles, and a selection of seasonal and local books, but be aware that it is still a second-floor loft, so please do not leave young children unsupervised. The house is at the end of a dead-end street, with only one other cabin sharing the driveway, which is occupied by the owner's parents. The stairs to the beach are shared with the other cabin, and the beach is very private. At high tide there is swimming, and at low tide children can explore the tidal zone. Our location provides easy access to Acadia Park, with regular children's programming, or register children for the Summer Festival of the Arts in Southwest Harbor in July, or Schoodic Arts for All in Winter Harbor in August. Leaf season is my favorite time to relax in Acadia. The deck overlooks Western Bay, and fall has the most spectacular sunsets of the year. The view of the ocean also showcases a huge maple that turns brilliant red. The days are warm, but the nights are cold, and we curl up in front of the woodstove at the end of a day hiking in the Park. With a luxury king mattress in the master bedroom, Janie's Haven becomes an ideal refuge for couples who just need to get away from it all after the summer crush has come and gone, and the winter rates make vacationing easier for couples. In the winter, Acadia is a haven for cross-country skiers and snowshoers, with over 55 miles of carriage trails to explore. Steal away for a week of peace as the snow falls over the ocean. We are always listening to feedback from visitors to try to make our cabin more comfortable. Over the years we've added room-darkening curtains in the basement bedroom, a large sofa for the living room, new deck furniture and a new gas grill, a king bed in the basement bedroom, a larger Vizio TV, and a mowed fenced-in lawn and woodland play area for children and dogs. Have any amenities you'd like to see at Janie's Haven for 2019? We'd love to hear about it - check us out on Facebook and make suggestions!

Please see reviews under Main property# 134089. This listing is just for Ariel's Grotto by itself. This can also be rented under #134089 with Briar Rose cottage for two houses. Spectacular location right on ocean's edge overlooking Cadillac Mountain and other mountains of Acadia National Park. This small place is designed to sleep a large group for an economical price!!!!! Just minutes to Acadia National Park's entrance. Beach is sandy, not rocky (a hard find on the rocky coast of Maine!) Enjoy the best views in the area right from your deck. Private entrance to the beach is just steps from your door. Two levels to enjoy. Lower level is open for entertainment and sleeping. Acadia National Park: World famous Acadia National Park is just minutes from this home. Enjoy scenic drives on the Park Loop Road. Hike the famous carriage path trails or climb one of the many mountains. Drive up Cadillac Mountain and you will be able to look over to your seaside cottage. The views from this mountain are like no where else. Many describe this as the most beautiful spot on earth and we must agree. Find out why the Rockerfellers and the Astors built there summer homes here. Even Martha Stewart has a place on the Island. Why? 'It's a good thing...' Kebo Valley Golf Course: Famed Kebo Valley Golf course may be one of the most beautiful courses you have every played on. But be careful, the beauty of Acadia surrounds it and may distract you while making that putt. The Bar Harbor Golf Course is also close by as are many other courses. Play them all while you are here. Bar Harbor Shopping & Lobster Ice Cream?Spend a day shopping the quaint shops in Bar Harbor. Or have lunch down on the pier and watch the many cruise ships which visit the beautiful island of Mount Desert. Many fine restaurants are located here which offer enough variety to satisfy even the most discerning palate. Pick up souvenirs or local crafts at the many shops. Do you dare taste the lobster ice cream? Oh, come on, you’re in Maine!

Cottage (1025 sq. ft.) in Penobscot, ME
0 miles from Blue Hill
Our cottage sits on a small bluff directly overlooking Penobscot Bay. About 15 feet from the cottage deck is our private stairs, leading to the water's edge. Maine's coastline is more rocky than sandy -- our "beach" is perfect for rock scrambling. And there is a little dock at the foot of the stairs where some guests take their morning coffee or store a kayak or just sit and think. The water is cold for swimming, but is ideal for rowing and canoeing and kayaking if one isn't hardy enough to take a swim There are little islands nearby to explore, but my favorite thing to do is to paddle out into the bay and sit quietly until the golden seals pop up around me. We rent the cottage by the week, or multiple weeks. Our weeks run from Saturday to Saturday. The cottage is fully furnished with linens, towels, cookware, dishware, and glassware. It is cleaned and the laundry is done before each guest arrives. There’s a nice-sized master bedroom with a queen-sized bed. In the dining/living greatroom there’s a daybed/sofa with a trundle, which becomes two twin beds. That room is quite attractive, I think: it has a cathedral ceiling and along one wall is the brick fireplace, while one entire other wall is windowed to look out across the water. Also, there are two charming, cozy sleeping lofts -- one of them looks across the bay and the other looks west, across a field. Each of these lofts has access via pulldown stairs. The lofts were designed for the children of the family that originally built the cottage -- they are fun and sweet and, oddly enough, pretty darned comfortable (which I know from sleeping in them quite often as an adult!). They each have futons and a little table with a little lamp on it. There is only one bathroom. It has been entirely renovated and expanded in 2019. It has a shower stall. The cottage kitchen isn’t large enough to eat in, but it’s not small, and the appliances are in good working order. There’s an electric stove, a microwave oven, a normal-sized refrigerator, as well as various kinds of coffee makers and a toaster oven. There are no laundry facilities in the cottage, but there is a laundromat in Castine, and another one in Bucksport. All well-behaved pets are welcome at our cottage.

Cottage in Brooklin, ME

At the Water's Edge, this small, adorable, gray-shingled cottage perches above Wells Cove, a tidal inlet located just off Eggemoggin Reach, a wide passage connecting Penobscot Bay to Blue Hill Bay in Downeast Maine. When the tide is high (twice every 24 hours) you seem to be afloat in a well-insulated, nicely-crafted boat. Even at low tide there are watery views from every window due to the building's site on a narrow little peninsula. The classic Maine experience, enjoy kayaking from private beach. Tastefully remodeled in 1997, there are two small bedrooms on the main floor and an extra trundle bed in the loft. This cottage offers all you will need to enjoy this lovely area! Bayberry Cove shares the peninsula with another small cottage (Jennifers Cottage) screened from view by spruce trees and honeysuckle. The living room, dining area, and kitchen, sheltered by a cathedral ceiling, are entered either through the glass paneled front door or the back door that opens off the porch. The walls and wainscoting throughout are painted pinkish off-white and the rooms are decorated, quietly, in warm shades: terra-cotta, rose, and beige. A short hall leads from the living area to the bathroom (shower, no tub) and two bedrooms. Even though there is, above these three rooms, a loft area with pull-out double bed, the house is most appropriate for two or three people. The loft offers additional sleeping for occasional overnight guests. Rates subject to change. Click "Book it Now" for rates and availability.

Imagine discovering a property with three (3) buildings nested perfectly to ensure exceptional view corridors to the sea, while also allowing a family or professional group to mingle but also elude each other. Delight in a well appointed, not stuffy but comfortable and secluded, compound. A place you can nap after tennis, enjoy a good coffee and book, or stay up late under the stars sipping wine with old friends and laughing effortlessly. Now consider that it’s in the most adorable seaside village in Maine. A legendary and near mythical village- with a cast of characters not soon forgotten. This is an extraordinary bundling of three dwellings on the same property. A Big House, a Tiny House and a new Carriage House. This allows a pod of friends & family to gather together, dine under the moon or also isolate with their immediate family for indoor dining, etc. The home is professionally cleaned, airy and light-filled, South facing with ample decks, terraces and even a rooftop lounge from which to take in the salty air and sea breezes, to relax and restore. The lot sits high atop a hill in Castine with panoramic views of the bay, it is south facing; ensuring lots of sunshine and, aside from a neighbor to the West, it is super secluded -unlike most in Castine. Ten bedrooms yet with ability to accommodate others even -on fold out couches, etc -means the price/ person is cheaper that a youth hostel but as splendid as any area hotel. In other words it’s a great value, leaving plenty of hard-earned dollars left over for lobster rolls, ice cream and frozen drinks! Simply put, it all came together in the last two years, the Tiny House and Carriage House enjoining the Big House to create a perfect retreat space -especially during this difficult chapter we’ve all found ourselves. Skip the elevators and daily change overs, the license plates from ‘round the country and the hustle and bustle of nearby Bar Harbor- this summer treat yourself and your loved ones to a private estate, near to almost anything you desire (tennis, golf, hiking and biking, beach fires and s’mores!) but yet far from stranger danger! Come to Castine and rusticate at Ted’s place!

Whether exploring nature, relaxing in a hammock, or just comfortably sitting on the front porch taking in the view, Camp Ouloncuit provides many ways to unwind and recharge. Original cabin: Camp Ouloncuit’s original rustic cottage, built in 1924, features an open living and dining area with a large stone hearth and fireplace. Many of the comfortable daybeds and built-in sofa benches were crafted from local timber by the original owner. The modernized kitchen with built-in table for up to six and adjacent pantry retain rustic charm, yet still offer a full set of appliances, including microwave and dishwasher. Master bedroom with king bed and stone hearth and fireplace enjoy the sounds of nearby rapids as well as a private full bathroom with double vanity and combined tub and shower. Two attached bunk rooms with two separate bathrooms and shared shower/tub room can accommodate up to seven people with one queen-sized bed and 5 twin-sized lower bunks. These bunk rooms are accessed through a covered porch walkway from the main cabin. New cabin: built in 2000, Camp Ouloncuit’s newer cottage has been featured in Yankee Magazine. The new cabin retains the spirit of the original cabin, built with local pine and spruce building materials, but adds modern comforts like radiant floor heating. The open living and dining area offers a farmhouse-style dining table for 8 to 10, a large stone hearth and fireplace, and additional daybeds and sofa benches. The galley-style kitchen combines the rustic charm of country shelving with the modern appeal of granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom with king bed enjoys a large private bathroom with double vanity and walk-in shower. Second bedroom has king bed. Loft bedroom with two single beds is accessed via an open staircase from the living area. Shared full bathroom with combined tub and shower. Porch/deck: both the original and new cabins offer two separate decks with furnishings so that one can enjoy a view of either Goose Marsh Pond or Squid Cove -- take your pick! In addition to the large rolling Weber grill, the front deck at the new cabin offers a built-in fireplace for barbecuing. Appliances: each cabin offers standard kitchen appliances including gas stove, microwave and dishwasher, as well as clothes washer and dryer. TV with DVD player. Extras: private dock. We rent both houses together during the high season; new house only (max. 6 people), Labor Day-mid-November. Please inquire for single house rates.
